ENGINEERING HIRING PROCESS
The recruitment process for engineering roles consists of four stages and can take up to two to four weeks. Remember, the interview process may vary depending on the role or team you are applying for. Additionally, you may be asked to attend at least one interview in-person at one of our office locations. If you have any questions during the process, you can contact the recruiter or hiring manager you've been in touch with.
If you don't hear back from us after 30 days of submitting your application, it's possible that your skills and qualifications simply didn't align with the requirements of the position. Keep in mind that there are many other opportunities out there, and you never know which one might be the perfect fit for you!
If your application meets the requirements for the role, a member of our recruiting team and/or the hiring manager will schedule a call to get to know you and your technical skill set. Use this opportunity to ask more questions about the role and the rest of the hiring process.
Coding and/or system design interviews will be covered during this stage. You will be given the opportunity to showcase your technical skills and knowledge. Be prepared to demonstrate your technical abilities through live coding questions and assessments with interviewers.
You’ll meet with several Snowflake team members during the panel interview stage. This round typically includes a series of meetings consisting of technical, expertise, system design, behavioral, and collaboration interviews. A 30-minute Tech Talk presentation may be included depending on the level and role you are interviewing for.
In the final stage, we will assess your candidacy for the job and make a decision. The team will meet to debrief on your final round of interviews, typically within a few days after your scheduled interview. We are committed to keeping you informed throughout this process, and we will reach out with an update once a decision is made. We also know this is a big decision for you too, so please reach out with any questions.
