WHAT TO EXPECTAS A SNOWMAKER
Snowmaker sets you on the path to become a sales engineer. This five month training program will combine classroom learning and field experience to build your knowledge, business acumen, and expertise of Snowflake technology.
At Snowflake, we put customers first. To help you learn the language of the customer, we will focus on developing presentation skills and business acumen.
Technology is your passion and it’s central to everything that we do. You’ll learn the ins-and-outs of Snowflake’s Data Cloud and be equipped to partner with organizations to unlock the value of their data.
As a Snowmaker, learning doesn’t happen in silos. Classroom training will be supplemented by weeks in the field where you are able to shadow mentors and apply your knowledge in real customer meetings.

The Snowmaker program is only the start. Upon completion of the program, you will transition to an associate sales engineer role.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Snowflake with the knowledge necessary to design, develop and maintain secure, scalable Snowflake solutions to drive business objectives.
Support the sales cycle by translating customer needs and problems into technical solutions. Work hands-on with prospects and customers to solve for the data challenges of today and reveal the possibilities of tomorow.

A passion for technology, a willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Maintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position Snowflake in relation to them.
